Kyuongmin Seo, AIA is the Founding Principal of Seo Architect. He is a dedicated and passionate Architect with over 19 years of solid diversified experience in designing residential, commercial, Civic, and mixed-use projects. As a sole practitioner for the past 10 years, I have successfully managed and delivered projects ranging from residential renovations to commercial establishments. Mr. Seo is committed to working closely with clients to realize their vision while adhering to budgetary constraints and the New York City building code and zoning resolutions. He is recognized for blending aesthetics with functionality and ensuring that every project is completed to the highest standard. He seeks opportunities to bring unique and tailored architectural solutions to forward-thinking clients and projects.
Before establishing Seo Architect, Mr. Seo worked with Santiago Calatrava in his New York office, primarily contributing to the design of the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in New York City and the Sharq Crossing Mosque in Doha, Qatar. Prior to joining Calatrava’s practice, Mr. Seo was at Studios Architecture and also at Handel Architects. Notable projects has worked on in New York include residential buildings like Warren Lofts, The Corner, The View, and The Caledonia.
Mr. Seo is a Registered Architect in the states of New York, New Jersey, and Florida. He is also a member of the American Institute of Architects and holds the NCARB(National Council of Architectural Registration Boards) Certification.
Mr. Seo earned his of Master of Architecture Degree from Pratt Institute in New York and Bachelor of Architectural Engineering Degree from Kyung-Hee University in South Korea.
Peter Chi-Liang Liu recently joined Seo Architect as a Senior Architectural Designer, bringing over nine years of experience in large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. He is highly skilled in BIM, with a strong focus on code-compliant construction documents aligned with NYC Building and Zoning Regulations. Peter has extensive experience in rezoning, multifamily, and mixed-use developments. He has coordinated closely with clients, consultants, and contractors, contributing detailed plans, elevations, and sections throughout the design and construction process.

Mr. Liu earned his of Master of Architecture Degree from Pratt Institute in New York and Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design Degree from Chang Gung University in Taiwan.


Jinwoo Jung is an Intermediate Architectural Designer with over six years of experience delivering projects from schematic design through construction administration. His work spans a wide range of building types and scales, developed through professional practice in both South Korea and the United States. Jinwoo brings strong design and technical skills, along with hands-on experience in construction oversight, making him a valuable contributor to integrated project teams. He joined Seo Architect in 2025, continuing his commitment to thoughtful, well-executed architecture.

Mr. Jung earned his of Master of Science - MS, MSAAD(M.S Advanced Architecture Design) Degree from Columbia University in New York and Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Ajou University in South Korea.
